Domestic
Violence is one of the leading cause of broken families in the world and is the
biggest cause of homeless children. The fact is that children growing up
in an abusive environment can have lasting emotional and psychological problems.
Children who have been the victim of domestic violence or who have grown up in
this environment will more than likely grew up to abusers themselves or is
likely to be abused; as such, it is important that parents are educated to the
effects that domestic violence can have on their children's psychological
development. With studies after studies showing that consistent expose to
violence is a significant factor in predicting a child's violent behavior, it is
imperative that the society as a whole becomes ethically responsible for
protecting our children.
This website is created as a public
education website for individuals interested in protecting the rights of
our children and providing them with the support they need to grow up
healthy, both physically and emotionally.
